Janet V. Haynes is retired and has been an active community servant for over 30 years. She earned a BS and MS in Chorale Music Education from the UM School of Music and served for many years as the office manager for the Historical Society of Michigan and Church Administrator at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Ann Arbor. Janet also serves as chair of the African American Endowment Fund, a Field of Interest of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.
