While pursing a career in education and then sales/marketing, Carlton Lartigue was never far from being involved with organizations that were committed to empowering individuals and advocating for equity. His service to community has spanned over 40 years with various roles as volunteer, board member, board officer, and board president with various organizations that include early education programs, preschool nutritional programs, youth transitional housing, youth and family homelessness, Urban League, NAACP, and other programs focused on supporting youth opportunities and success.
