A paid, cohort-based pilot program supporting college student retention through mentorship and on-campus engagement. The College Ambassadors Program provides college-aged participants with a safe, supportive space to seek guidance as they navigate academic, social, and personal challenges of college life. The program centers first-generation students and those from historically marginalized backgrounds, meeting students where they are—on campus.
Why it Matters
Data shows that graduation rates for first-generation college students are significantly lower than average. Many students experience challenges balancing coursework, employment, financial responsibilities, self-care, and a sense of belonging. The College Ambassadors Program offers an additional layer of care, empathy, and wisdom in a non-intimidating, accessible setting.
Program Model
