It is no secret that finding the right college and career fit can be a long, stressful, and sometimes intimidating process. Girls Group’s College and Career Tours program transforms an intimidating experience into an enriching and fun summer adventure!
Girls Group participants had an opportunity for a career day at Hook Studios, an award winning creative production company, which serves organizations such as Google, Nike, Cameo, and MailChimp. Participants spoke with the leadership team at Hook about internship opportunities and learned more about the marketing industry. “I could see myself starting a career in graphic design,” one participant shared.
Throughout the rest of the summer, the group will visit several other businesses to explore professions in entrepreneurship, engineering, technology, and the medical field, as well as several colleges including Wayne State University, Grand Valley State University, and Eastern Michigan University.
