Mary Sherrill retired in 2011 after 40 years of Federal service in administration with the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has served in a variety of volunteer and leadership roles in organizations in the Ann Arbor area. Currently she is an active leader with her homeowner’s association (HOA), with Sequoia Place (a Samaritas non-profit senior housing property), and with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UofM. Mary is a mother to four adult children and grandparent to seven young adults. She received her undergraduate degree from Wayne State University (Detroit) and graduate degree from Marygrove College (Detroit).
