We are thrilled to share that Savannah Welch, a proud Girls Group alumna, delivered a truly powerful speech at our Annual Fundraiser. From her earliest days in the program to her current journey as a graduating senior studying engineering at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, Savannah shared how mentorship, community, and opportunities shaped her path. Her words reminded us why supporting and empowering young women is so vital — and why every moment invested in their growth matters.
Savannah’s story is one of courage, resilience, and determination. She reflected on experiences like joining the Young Women for Change board, attending the Women’s March on Washington, and even learning to sail at MSU’s 4-H camp — each shaping the confident, capable leader she is today.
